Liquid Death x Sanrio

THE COLLAB

Focused on introducing people to Liquid Death, a water company producing water in cans to combat plastic pollution in a cute and engaging manner. Given the opportunity to choose two companies for a collaboration, I selected Liquid Death and Sanrio. My aim was to bring fun, cute, and memorable characters from Sanrio to collaborate with Liquid Death, creating an exclusive line that would introduce new audiences to Liquid Death and its mission.

I utilized SketchUp to design a pop-up event and used InDesign to create a collaboration book showcasing the purpose and essence of the collaboration.

Creating a book that showcases the mission of the collaboration between Liquid Death and Sanrio. Using flames on the skull and pastel colors found in the Sanrio palette to design the cover and back.

Content-wise, I aimed to have fun by incorporating bold photos and imagery while showcasing each brand, my inspiration, and the process of the pop-up event between the two brands. Additionally, I created an exclusive line featuring Sanrio characters on mini Liquid Death cans that people could keep as souvenirs.

Here on the right, you can see some of the exclusive mini Liquid Deaths that I had designed featuring Hello Kitty, Kuromi, Keroppi, Pompurin, Cinnamonroll, and My Melody. I designed each can with a color associated with that character, while maintaining the Liquid Death logo and style.
