THE ISSUE

With a task in mind to help solve an issue by creating an app, I focused on people’s struggles to find affordable used clothing that fits their style and budget. The app allows users to catalog their outfits, create outfits suitable for the weather in their location, and buy and sell affordable clothing easily and improve the environment.

THE APPROACH

Responsive Brand

I approached this design layout by creating a mobile interface that is user-friendly, stylish, and geared towards young adults who are budget-conscious and express themselves through their clothing and finding ways to keep track of their outfits, but inputting them into a closet.

Digital APPROACH

“A fluid grid system was implemented that I created in Figma, with each section having different layers and panels, making it a fully functioning mocked-up app. Keeping it clean, fun, and easy to navigate was one of the most important factors for me.

Focused on showcasing my mobile app layout, Apostle, by using a burgundy color with a tan color as contrast. Utilizing rounded icons and a rounded grid system, I aimed to give it a friendlier and more user-friendly approach, infusing the interface with personality through a fluid system rather than a rigid one.

This task required me to learn how to use various effects in Figma, as well as prototyping and animations, to create smooth transitions between panels, particularly within the checkout section of the app.
